This tribute build is pure SoCal craftsmanship, designed with the soul of rock ‘n’ roll in every fiber. Originally envisioned as a custom piece for Keith Richards, this "Black & Blue" powerhouse is a high-performance machine was built to capture that iconic, gritty punch and clarity. The foundation begins with a resonant, ultra-lightweight Pine body—inspired by the very first Telecasters—paired with a striking all-black Maple neck. Totaling just 6.5 lbs, this guitar is built for effortless playability and stage-ready comfort.

Every hardware choice was made with legendary performance in mind, from the Sperzel Locking Tuners and black graphite nut to the solid Kluson brass bridge plate and adjustable saddles for sustain that lasts for days. We loaded this beauty with our brand-new BFH SoCal Custom Pickups, and dialed in for that signature Keef tone.

Visually, it’s a total knockout, we opted for a 3-ply Black/White/Black pickguard to give the guitar a sharp visual "pop," accented by a nickel control panel featuring custom black-and-pearl markers. Finished with our signature headstock logo and an engraved neck plate, this guitar comes protected in a premium hard-shell case. It’s a proudly built in Southern California and ready to find its forever stage.
