You found it! You can sell your gear right here. Wether you want to sell it outright to us or have us do everythi ng you need to sell it using our generous consignment program. When you take advantage of our consignment program it stays your gear and we're here to facilitate the sell and make the process smooth and easy.
With our Consignment program you have direct access to everything Guitars West has to offer. Porfessional photography & videography to make sure your gear is showcased at its absolute best. Our in house Luthier makes sure your instrument is in the absolute best condition possible giving it a professional setup after the complete inspection and detail. Utilize our 45+ years in the industry, online storefront, our Southern California Showroom, social media platforms, and our contact list of some of the industries biggest collectors, artist, and recording studios all over the world.
What's your gear worth?
Send us all the information about your guitar, bass, amp, or any other vintage or new gear you're interested in getting appraised to sell. Along with the important information like make, model, year, and condiotion we also need some photos sent to the team here at Guitars West. Next we discuss the piece with a short phone call or email to get any information that is needed before moving forward.
How much money do we pay?
Selling to the shop, we offer anywhere from 30-50% of current value for buyouts. Consignment we have an industry standard of 15-20% payout of final sells price (excluding shipping cost & Tax).
How does your gear make it to the Socal Showroom?
Either you ship it using your materials, or we send a box with premade shipping lable inside the box ready to go. We have successfuly shipped 2000+ musical instruments and will send you all the packing materials within the box. We will also be ready to help you in any way possible to professionally prepare your gear for safe travels.
